The idea behind this website was born back in 2015, when I was a piano student about to embark on his Master's degree. A passionate listener of Cortot's recordings, I thought it would be fun to collect all the ultra-nerdy knowledge I had in one convenient place. Learning about concepts such as "databases" and "back end development", the first lines of code were written in 2017. However, it took many busy years of limited spare time and a tech switch in 2021 from MySQL, php, jQuery and a template engine to Next.js and SQLite before the site could finally be launched in 2024.
